Why does Fox have a 1% tax buffer on their orders?

The tax quoted to the customer on the site is an estimate. We re-determine taxes at time of shipping, so taxes can be higher than originally quoted.

Therefore we authorize for 1% higher than the total order amount to ensure that we have sufficient authorization.

We cannot settle the funds until your items ship from our Distribution Center. Once they do, the pending authorization drops from your account and we collect the final amount. 

The pending authorization can take anywhere from 2-10 days to fall off of your account.
